Gardening - is Healing!!

The British Prime Minister - has just announced a lock-down for Great Britain to help in the fight against Coronavirus.

Which effectively means that individuals and small families - are now isolated within their homes.

If you have a garden - this is the year to get out and get stuck in.  This is the year - to dust of your spade and get digging for victory!  We may be stuck on our own little plots - but we are all potential gardeners.  Get out and weed.  And seed - and feed those neglected plants and plots.  Sit on your bench - and enjoy the garden with your little family.  Or if you are on your own.  Get out in the fresh air and enjoy the sound of the birds.  They are free.  They are little pieces of joy.

We will be free again.  As free as our beloved robin.  We will sing again - and dance.  And laugh - and kiss and hug and sneeze in public again!!

If your garden is a blank canvas - get out and start digging.  Make a plan - mark out a bed.  And dig for victory.  If you have kids - get them involved.  Ditch the xbox - and let them dig a hole!

Don't waste this opportunity to love your garden.  And for your garden to love you back!!

There is healing outside in the soil.  Healing for body, soul and spirit.  You are a gardener in your heart and in your heart you are free.

Bless you and all of my customers at this difficult, fearful and frankly mad time.  While there is not much we can do to change circumstances - we can keep a positive frame of mind and enjoy our own little kingdoms!!

Time to keep calm and carry on loving your gardens......we will get through this crisis together.
